We rode bicycles to town this morning and saw the small river town of Golconda. What a nice place, with reminders of yesteryear everywhere you look. We raced each other on the bikes and Jimmy won. It wasn't even close, but wait til next time.
Daryl, from the Herald Enterprise met us at the boat, took some pics and the three of us talked about the boat and our journey. Yep . . . .The Lucky Lady made the paper.
Jim stopped by with his friend Roy, who was very helpful and suggested that we wait another day before leaving in order to reach Green Turtle Bay without having to anchor down along the way. Jimmy stayed busy all afternoon and I kept trying to get a photo of Otter. Still, no luck.
Jim and Roy stopped by and invited us to have dinner with them and their wives, Trina and JoAnn. What a feast. Hamburgers, salad, beans, salad with JoAnn's homemade French dressing, fried apples, and cornbread.
