UPDATE: 9/14/16
As the Lucky Lady rests patiently at Rocky Point Marina, much has been done and is still being done to get her moving again. Ralph is UNBELIEVABLE. I could go on and on about this man and his many talents. Dave has been there since Sunday and has been a great help and great company. Jeremy appeared Sunday evening and came back again early Monday morning, proving to us that miracles do happen.
We were visited on Sunday (9/11), by my daughter Vivian, Gary's wife Laura, his father-in-law Lowell and Glenn Rush - - - who worked tirelessly and brought us some sliders or castleburgers or whatever they're called. At any rate, they're those little hamburgers with holes in them . Rocky Point doesn't have a White Castle . . ."thanks Glenn."
Gary had to leave Sunday and return home for surgert to his hand. Of course, we wish for successful surgery and a speedy recovery. An especially speedy recovery, so Gary can get back to practicing his penmanship. His cursive writing is beautiful. Although we miss him, he's promised to return at a later time. Jimmy and I will hold him to his word.
This prop situation is not without its own set of glitches and complications. One of which occured when Jimmy's I-pad went missing. We weren't sure if it had been lost or stolen. Nicole Evans (tech savvy Nicole Evans) to the rescue. She tracked the missing I-pad to our car (which had been searched 3 times), and ended up being right next to Jimmy. Thanks Nicole.
A lot of support has come from back home in Louisville. Thank you Vivian for setting up this blog and taking care of Rocky and Sam, plus all of the other responsibilities I left behind. Phil . . . ."THANKS A MILLION." Thank you Vicky, Sunny, Laura, Karen, Pete (Pedro) and all others.
Glad to hear you guys are back in business!! Good Luck on the next part of your journey. :-)
